  It breaks my heart to give this place a 2, it really should have a 4 or 5. I have been going there since I was a child, however over the years I don't know what happened to management. The ladies that run the place now are unbelievably rude. They will huff at you, criticize how you order if you don't come in ready (like we're supposed to know what they have available at the time). They slam things down in a childish way. They don't greet you and don't utter a word when you leave, they stare blankly at you like you're putting them out. They have no pride in their job, or how they present their self or the bakery. The only saving grace is the food. It's amazing, but I'm noticing burnt and stale food more and yet they still are putting it out. I very rarely go there now for these reasons and it's very tragic. I think it's important to know this place WAS once great.

  great pastries but the worker is rude omg !!I've been going here for 40 yrs it never was like this even when I worked at lucky's restaurant in the 80s and 90s it was never this bad idk what they want to do but I tried it twice now I've gotten bad service that's it such a shame I love that place too well I guess everything changes just sorry that I live close and have to drive out to vine street
